Stoke Rochford Hall; where groups arrive together but stay as individuals
Stoke Rochford Hall truly is a gem for group accommodation, situated in beautiful parklands only half a mile from the A1, just south of Grantham. It has remained undiscovered to group business until recently, and boasts accommodation for up to 2 coaches.
Your group will enjoy the delights of the Victorian mansion, and the splendour of the Great Hall, with its ornate fireplace along with the magnificent Library, and cocktail bar. The Orangery is very special and can be used by your group, should they require private dining, or for a special reunion event. The main bar, bistro and dining room are also in the mansion.
The large gardens boast quiet seating areas, formal planting along with charming woodland walks.
The accommodation is in two wings a few minutes’ walk from the Hall. The Stable Courtyard has 52 ensuite bedrooms each of a different shape and size, which are split over the ground and first floor. Each of these rooms are in the Old Stable buildings. Woodlands Lodge boasts 24 bedrooms, this is a purpose built wing with all standard sized ensuite bedrooms, again on ground and first floors.
The hotel includes porterage, and the coach can unload very close to the accommodation wings.
There is a lift in the main Hall. Each room is furnished to a standard 3* quality, with tea/coffee facilities, TV, wifi, and hairdryer in each room.
The dining room serves groups extensive hot and cold buffet breakfasts, whilst the three course dinners are served at your table with a selection of starters and deserts. Main courses can be selected from the buffet. Your group will have a section of the dining room for their own use, and can be served anytime between 1830 – 2030hrs. giving groups that little more freedom. Table sizes can be flexible, to suit your group needs, we encourage tables of 2, 4 or 6.
The hotel can also provide a historian guide for tours of the house and gardens. (Extra charge)
Stoke Rochford Hall is ideally situated giving a variety of excursion ideas, Lincoln, Rutland water and cruises on the Rutland Belle, Geoff Hamilton’s Garden, Burghley House, Easton Walled Garden, not forgetting Melton Mowbray the home of the pork pie.
